About the role

Vacaville High School is hiring a temporary teacher for Grade 11 English for the 2026-27 school year. The teacher works under the direction of the school principal and delivers a sound educational program using effective instructional and motivational techniques, in line with the district's mission and the approved curriculum.

Key responsibilities

Provide instruction in Grade 11 English under the principal's direction
Maintain a safe, caring, student-centered environment that promotes high academic and ethical standards
Perform other duties directly related to the position

Required profile

California teaching credential authorizing the grade level and subject, with English Learner authorization
First priority goes to Vacaville Unified School District teachers
