Teen Leader – Youth Program Coordinator

About the role

Teen Leaders are responsible for developing and delivering teen programs, supervising activities, and building relationships with middle and high school students at the East Boston YMCA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality programs for middle and high school students while enforcing YMCA policies.
• Facilitate daily teen clubs, ensuring safety and adherence to COVID‑19 protocols.
• Maintain enrollment records, monitor participation, and support recruitment efforts.
• Coordinate with the management team to provide a teen‑friendly, safe environment.
• Attend meetings, maintain program supplies, and meet reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Youth programming experience required; teen programming experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and other program‑specific certifications required upon or after hire.
