Technical Services Engineer (Healthcare / SaMD)

About the role

EnsoData, a healthcare software company using AI and machine learning to analyze sensor data, is looking for a Technical Services Engineer to join its customer-facing technical services team. The engineer works with the Customer Success and Engineering teams to support the implementation, deployment and support of software solutions in healthcare, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). The position is hybrid, based in the continental United States, with a salary of USD 80,000-85,000.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize multiple incoming customer issues, balancing urgency and impact to resolve them on time
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in web-based applications
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for escalating issues to internal teams and document processes to help other engineers
• Communicate clearly with customers about the steps needed to solve their issues
• Document customer issues and resolutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering or healthcare
• 1 year of experience in technical services, customer support or related fields in healthcare or software
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging code, ideally in web applications hosted in cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Preferred: demonstrated experience with SaMD and knowledge of HIPAA and FDA guidelines
• Preferred: experience in Python, React, React Native, MongoDB and GCP
