About the role

Fleetworthy is seeking an enthusiastic, customer‑focused IT Support Specialist to join its Help Desk team. This entry‑level position is ideal for someone beginning an IT career and eager to learn in a fast‑paced technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees via phone, email, chat, or in person, logging and resolving help‑desk tickets promptly.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues across multiple locations, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices for new hires.
• Support basic account provisioning and access requests under senior staff guidance.
• Document common issues, resolutions, and create how‑to guides to enrich the knowledge base.
• Help with day‑to‑day operational tasks and project support as assigned.

Required profile

• 0–1 year of IT support, help‑desk, or customer‑service experience (including internships, co‑ops, or volunteer work).
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Apple operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Eagerness to learn, troubleshoot, and adapt to new technologies.
• Associate’s degree, IT certificate, or equivalent self‑study experience.
