Technical Sales Representative – Pennsylvania

About the role

The Technical Sales Representative will promote and sell Chemetall surface‑treatment chemicals to established and prospective customers across Pennsylvania. The role combines sales planning, territory management, and hands‑on technical support to ensure safe product performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze account activities and tailor sales presentations to meet specific customer needs.
• Manage territory profitability by reviewing margins, selecting optimal products, and pricing appropriately.
• Plan weekly call itineraries to ensure comprehensive coverage by industry, geography, and account potential.
• Visit customers, assess their cleaning, sanitation, or surface‑treatment challenges, and recommend suitable Chemetall solutions.
• Prepare and deliver oral and written sales presentations, negotiate pricing within approved limits, and generate quotes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date opportunity pipelines and call reports in Salesforce CRM.
• Provide post‑sale service, training, and safety information to customers.
• Report competitive activities and collaborate with district manager and internal teams.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge of Chemetall products and participate in team‑selling activities.

Required profile

• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and service customers on‑site.
• Strong understanding of cleaning, sanitation, and surface‑treatment processes.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information and answering product‑related questions.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, maintain accurate CRM data, and meet daily call targets.
• Proactive attitude toward learning product technology and industry trends.
