Technical Recruiter, Infrastructure

About the role

Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. As a Technical Recruiter focused on Infrastructure, you will partner with engineering leaders to translate ambiguous hiring needs into clear search strategies and drive the full recruiting lifecycle for critical infrastructure roles.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruiting for a portfolio of infrastructure positions, from intake through offer and close.
• Conduct structured intakes with hiring managers, turning vague requirements into scoped job criteria, calibrated bars, and search plans.
• Build and maintain pipelines of specialized infrastructure talent, emphasizing passive candidate sourcing.
• Refine interview loops, take‑home assignments, and scorecards in collaboration with hiring managers and recruiting operations.
• Develop deep domain knowledge of infrastructure technologies to identify niche talent.
• Provide market data and calibration feedback to hiring managers, influencing decisions through credibility.
• Partner with Compensation, People Partners, and Mobility to craft equitable offers and guide candidates to closure.
• Handle confidential role and candidate information with discretion.

Required profile

• Extensive full‑lifecycle recruiting experience, especially supporting infrastructure, platform, or highly technical engineering teams.
• Ability to discuss technical concepts such as Kubernetes, container orchestration, cloud networking, cluster networking, and systems languages.
• Proficiency with modern applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse) and sourcing tools.
• Demonstrated skill in partnering with hiring managers on intake, bar calibration, and interview design.
• Strong independent judgment on candidate quality and the capacity to manage multiple complex searches.
