Technical Product Owner – eCommerce

About the role

As a Technical Product Owner for eCommerce, you will partner with global teams to shape and deliver high‑impact digital solutions. You will define product strategy, manage the backlog, and ensure delivery of features that create measurable value for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Translate company and customer goals into product direction and maintain a prioritized roadmap aligned with business and technical strategy.
• Own backlog refinement, sprint planning, and validation activities, using OKRs to guide prioritization and success metrics.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design integration patterns between the commerce platform (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris) and custom micro‑services.
• Drive change management and enablement plans for new system implementations and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager or Solution Architect.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to align business and IT teams.

Required skills

• Domain knowledge of eCommerce platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris, Commerce Tools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce).
• Experience with API design, enterprise integrations and micro‑service architectures.
• Proficiency with backlog management tools such as Jira.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models, including defining DoR and DoD.
