Technical Consultant – Integrated Support

About the role

Esri is hiring a Technical Consultant for its Professional Services division in Redlands, California. The consultant works directly with enterprise customers to support and implement ArcGIS Enterprise systems through integrated support and premium support activities, helping customers maximize their investment in GIS technology. The role focuses on technical troubleshooting, system administration and customer success, and requires strong customer-facing skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance for ArcGIS Enterprise implementations and ongoing system administration for strategic customers
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and give customer-facing technical consultation within integrated and premium support programs
• Work with enterprise geodatabases, including configuration, optimization and troubleshooting across database platforms
• Help customers with system requirements, design recommendations and implementation best practices
• De-escalate technical situations and explain complex concepts clearly to customers
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery
• Take part in customer onboarding and guide system setup and configuration
• Support Linux-based system administration and document technical solutions for the knowledge base
• Mentor colleagues on enterprise system implementations

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in GIS technical support, system administration or technical consulting
• 3+ years with ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, configuration and administration
• Proven experience with enterprise geodatabases and database administration concepts
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support customers face-to-face
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with ability to de-escalate difficult situations
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing customer needs
• Experience supporting enterprise-level customers and understanding of enterprise IT environments
• US citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS or a related STEM field
