Team Lead – Retail Store Operations

About the role

The Team Lead supports the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and delivering an excellent customer experience. In the absence of senior management, the Team Lead assumes full responsibility for all aspects of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Deliver a high‑quality shopping experience and uphold service standards.
• Handle POS transactions, sales, discounts, refunds, and loyalty programs according to policy.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and price management.
• Manage visual merchandising, floor maintenance, and promotional signage.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll budgeting, and time‑and‑attendance compliance.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
• Implement loss‑prevention measures to protect company assets.

Required profile

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong managerial and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the manager’s absence.
• Background check clearance.
