Team Lead – Gym Operations

About the role

The Team Lead supports the Club Manager in overseeing daily gym operations, ensuring members receive an exceptional experience. This full‑time, non‑exempt position combines front‑desk duties with staff development and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing gym staff.
• Provide front‑desk support: answer calls, handle member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, and update accounts.
• Give tours to prospective members and promote gym services.
• Address member service issues and ensure high‑quality customer interactions.
• Support the Club Manager with team management and backup duties.
• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and overall positive image of the club.
• Help coordinate marketing promotions and ensure staff are informed.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and track related reports.

Required profile

• Honesty and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lb as needed.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
