About the role
Reed & Mackay is seeking a Team Lead, Events to head a talented group of event professionals. In this hands‑on leadership position you will oversee end‑to‑end event delivery, nurture key client relationships and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing event planning team, setting goals and providing feedback.
- Manage team workload, capacity planning and resource flexing across departments.
- Recruit, onboard and integrate new team members while fostering an inclusive culture.
- Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of key clients, delivering tailored event solutions.
- Oversee budgets, timelines, logistics and vendor management for complex projects.
- Represent Reed & Mackay on‑site during events, ensuring professional execution.
- Drive revenue growth and operational efficiency across the events portfolio.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align event delivery with broader business objectives and monitor market trends.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading event teams and managing large‑scale events.
- Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of building lasting relationships.
- Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence senior stakeholders.
- Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on revenue growth and service excellence.
