About the role
The Team Coordinator supports the dental practice by greeting patients, managing calls, handling enrollment, and ensuring accurate patient information. This part‑time position works closely with clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients, assist with forms, and maintain patient flow.
- Schedule appointments, arrange callbacks, and prioritize patient requests.
- Process co‑pays, payments, and update insurance, demographics, and consent information.
- Print clinical summaries, enroll patients, and assign primary care providers.
- Handle paperwork for releases, legal documents, workers’ compensation, and other regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Organized, efficient, with solid typing and basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office equipment (computer, copier, fax).
- Basic mathematical ability for handling payments and calculations.
