About the role
The Vacaville Unified School District (VUSD) seeks a dedicated secondary Physical Education teacher to split responsibilities between the Padan and Fairmont campuses (60%/40%). The role supports VUSD’s mission to graduate all students by providing academic excellence and personalized learning experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the secondary Physical Education curriculum to students across both campuses.
- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all classroom activities.
- Foster lifelong learning, character development, and collaboration among students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a supportive school community.
- Participate in college and career readiness initiatives.
Required profile
- Valid teaching credential for secondary Physical Education.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Ability to engage and inspire secondary students.
