Tax Reporter – Legal News Journalist

About the role

Law360, the award‑winning legal news service, is looking for a Tax Reporter to join its growing newsroom. You will produce timely coverage of federal, international, state and local tax developments for an audience of tax attorneys, accountants and policy professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Write and publish daily news stories and briefings on tax legislation, regulations and policy issues.
• Cover webcast hearings, live events and other tax‑related proceedings as needed.
• Conduct news searches and research to support story development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field.
• At least 2 years of paid, full‑time reporting experience.
• Strong reporting, writing and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated interest or proficiency in tax law and legal matters.
