Assistant, Digital Label Operations

About the role

The Digital Label Operations Assistant supports day‑to‑day operations of Reservoir’s recorded music catalog, focusing on digital product setup, video delivery, lyrics, metadata, and catalog maintenance. This temporary part‑time role runs until March 31, 2027 with strong potential to become permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain digital products in OpenPlay, including metadata, artwork, audio, and other assets.
• Deliver and maintain music videos and visualizers on YouTube and VEVO, handling metadata and troubleshooting rejections.
• Conduct catalog audits and quality‑control checks across internal systems.
• Maintain internal trackers and documentation of releases, videos, and operational issues.
• Support the team with day‑to‑day requests, migrations, metadata initiatives, and special projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience or internship in digital/label operations, music distribution, or related area.
• Strong attention to detail when working with metadata, spreadsheets, and digital assets.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Passion for music and interest in a career in digital label operations.

• OpenPlay (or similar content/metadata management system).
• YouTube CMS / VEVO.
• Airtable.
• Excel or Google Sheets.
