YouTube Creator & Educator

About the role

Runway‑ml is seeking a YouTube Creator & Educator to launch and own its YouTube channel. You will appear on‑camera, handle production, edit videos, and demonstrate how creators can use Runway’s generative AI tools to produce real ads, short films, and VFX shots.

Key responsibilities

• Define channel strategy with the creative team, including topics, formats, cadence, and target audience.
• Produce end‑to‑end video content: write scripts, film, edit—including screen recordings, on‑camera segments, and custom motion graphics.
• Use Runway’s generative AI tools as core teaching and production elements.
• Grow watch time, retention, and community engagement, and collaborate with product and marketing on launches.

Required profile

• Active YouTube channel or substantial portfolio of long‑form video work.
• Strong filmmaking fundamentals: shooting, lighting, directing, and ability to run the full production cycle solo.
• Clear point of view on filmmaking, advertising, or visual storytelling and the skill to teach it effectively.

Required skills

• Expert video editing and motion‑graphics proficiency (After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience with Runway’s generative AI tools and other generative video platforms.
