Tax Manager – Latin America

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead the Group’s tax strategy across Latin America, overseeing tax matters for shipping agencies, regional carriers and inland transportation entities. You will ensure compliance, optimise tax positions and act as the key liaison between the LATAM entities, the Head Office in France and the Regional Office in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Assist LATAM entities during tax audits, coordinating with local advisors when needed.
• Develop secure, optimised tax solutions for all Group entities operating in the region.
• Monitor emerging tax initiatives, conduct ad‑hoc studies and support restructuring projects.
• Liaise with internal finance, legal, management and business teams, as well as external legal, tax and accounting advisors.
• Prepare and share tax documentation for the Head Office and Regional Office.
• Validate tax liabilities and perform tax reviews for LATAM entities.
• Provide written analyses and implement solutions for complex international tax issues.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in tax law.
• Experience in the tax department of an international group or a business law firm.
• Specialisation in international tax matters, including double tax agreements, OECD/UN model conventions and foreign tax regulations.
• Fluency in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
