Tax Manager – Commercial Real Estate (CRE)

About the role

Join a nationally recognized CPA firm as a Tax Manager within its Commercial Real Estate (CRE) practice in Dallas. You will support high‑value real estate clients, providing both compliance and advisory tax services in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and advisory engagements for CRE clients.
• Review partnership and corporate tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
• Research complex tax issues and provide technical guidance based on relevant authorities.
• Draft technical memorandums and share knowledge across the team.
• Oversee engagement timelines, budgets, and team performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and service offerings.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposals and RFP responses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Tax or Accounting preferred.
• CPA, JD, or EA certification required.
• Strong experience in the real estate industry preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Advanced tax research and technical expertise.
• Experience with ProSystem, CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, client service, and project management abilities.
