Tax Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Tax Manager to join a private‑equity owned energy company in The Woodlands. The role supports U.S. federal, state and international tax compliance, reporting and planning across a complex corporate structure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal, state and local income tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
• Assist with corporate (Forms 1120) and partnership (Forms 1065) tax filings, including partner allocations and capital account analysis.
• Support the quarterly and annual income tax provision process under ASC 740, including deferred tax calculations and book‑to‑tax differences.
• Handle U.S. international tax compliance, calculating GILTI, Subpart F income and foreign tax credits, and maintain tax basis in CFC stock.
• Perform GAAP and tax fixed‑asset roll‑forwards, analytical reviews and reconciliations for tax reporting.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, track filing deadlines and manage state tax accounts.
• Gather documentation for transfer‑pricing analyses and support audit and tax‑notice responses.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate and partnership tax compliance.
• Experience with ASC 740 tax provision and international tax concepts such as GILTI and Subpart F.
• Ability to work with external advisors and internal finance teams.
