About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice as a Tax Japanese Business Network Intern for the Winter 2028 term. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, supporting the delivery of tailored tax solutions to entrepreneurial and private businesses with a focus on Japanese‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze tax data to identify potential savings and compliance opportunities.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance projects.
• Conduct tax research and provide up‑to‑date information on tax laws and regulations.
• Draft and prepare tax documents for clients under supervision.
• Support the Japanese Business Network in delivering customized tax services.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to improve tax reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Business‑level fluency in Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and proactive learning attitude.
