About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in New York as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance, international tax planning, and data‑driven tax optimization while supporting senior professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related compliance documents.
• Research complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions.
• Support international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute to innovative consulting solutions.
• Collaborate on the development of tax models and structures for clients.
• Help prepare tax provisions and assist with audit validation.
• Apply data analytics to identify tax‑optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before full‑time start.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
