About the role

As a Tax Intern at PwC in Los Angeles, you will join a dynamic tax consulting team and gain hands‑on experience with corporate tax compliance, international tax planning and data‑driven analysis. The internship runs during the Winter 2027 term and offers exposure to PwC’s methodologies and client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax professionals in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions and reduce risk.
• Participate in international and multistate tax planning activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute innovative solutions to consulting projects.
• Collaborate on the development of tax models, structures and provisions.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify opportunities for tax optimisation.
• Observe and learn from experienced tax staff to build professional skills.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state of future employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
