About the role

As a Tax Intern at PwC in Jacksonville, you will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver advice, planning and compliance solutions for corporate clients. The summer 2027 internship offers exposure to both domestic and international tax projects while you develop your professional brand.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and propose innovative solutions.
• Help develop tax models and structures for clients.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.
