About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in Nashville as a Summer 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver tailored tax strategies, compliance, and planning for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions.
• Participate in international and multistate tax planning activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute innovative solutions to consulting projects.
• Help develop tax models and structures for client engagements.
• Support the preparation of tax provisions, audits, and regulatory compliance strategies.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preference for 3.5 GPA).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before full‑time start.
• Typically a third‑year student in a four‑year program or fourth‑year in a five‑year program.
