About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice in Philadelphia as a Summer 2027 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver tailored tax advice, compliance, and planning services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist tax teams in preparing corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
  • Research and analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions.
  • Support international and multistate tax planning projects.
  • Contribute to the development of tax models, provisions, and audit documentation.
  • Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax‑optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior professionals to learn PwC’s tax methodology and best practices.

Required profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
  • Typically a third‑year student in a four‑year program or fourth‑year student in a five‑year program.
