About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in New York as a Summer 2027 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver tailored advice, compliance, and planning solutions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams with the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Support analysis of complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute to innovative consulting solutions.
• Help develop tax models, structures, and provisions for clients.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build technical expertise.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
