Tax Controversy Manager – LatAm & EMEA

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Tax Manager to join its Global Tax Controversy team, focusing on EMEA and Latin America. The role will lead tax controversy matters, including transfer pricing disputes, APAs, MAPs, and tax litigation related to corporate income tax and VAT.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax controversy, APA/MAP, and tax litigation matters across EMEA and LatAm.
• Develop strategy and approach, directly engaging with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Collaborate with Amazon tax teams on transfer pricing, international tax, M&A, and compliance.
• Coordinate with the Amazon Legal team on tax litigation issues.
• Travel internationally as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s, J.D., or CPA preferred).
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required.
