About the role
North Raleigh CPA Firm is seeking a detail‑oriented Tax Accountant to support CPA Relationship Managers with tax planning and preparation for individual and business clients. The role is open to both full‑time and part‑time candidates and serves as an entry point into public accounting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041).
- Assist clients with tax planning and year‑end business planning strategies.
- Collaborate closely with CPA Relationship Managers to deliver high‑quality client service.
- Maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

- Highly committed to accuracy, quality, and meeting goals.
- Professional, reliable, and eager to grow within a growing firm.
Required skills
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
- Familiarity with Creative Solutions UltraTax software (preferred).
