About the role
Manchester Tank, part of McWane, is hiring a welder in Quincy. The employee sets up and operates welding equipment, monitors the process and product quality, and makes corrections so that a steady flow of quality product reaches the customer.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate welding equipment, setting operational parameters on the machine and monitor and making corrections as needed.
- Position, align and fit components together.
- Weld fabricated, cast and stamped components to assemble tanks and pressure vessels.
- Complete the first article inspection before starting production runs.
- Monitor product quality using the required gages and inspection criteria.
- Operate lifting devices as needed.
Required profile
- Able to read prints and locate piece parts.
- Willingness to make corrections to the process to maintain quality.

- Starting wage of $22.23 per hour.
