Talent & Rewards Consulting Analyst

About the role

Mercer's Career Consulting team is looking for a Talent & Rewards Consulting Analyst to work with clients worldwide on strategies that reward, manage and engage people. The role is based in Louisville, KY, Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN, with a hybrid arrangement of at least three days per week in the office or with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse industry and organisation-specific issues such as business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, global expansion and career management best practices.
• Collect and examine data relevant to developing solutions across the various practices.
• Analyse clients' strategic, financial and organisational information to give insights to senior members of the project team.
• Take part in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a consulting firm or corporate role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs.
• Superior organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of data analysis, project management and presentation design.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Nice to have: demonstrated experience in compensation and total rewards, and advanced proficiency in Excel and/or data analysis platforms.
