Talent Manager - Contract Finance & Accounting

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Talent Manager for its Full-Time Engagement Professional team in the Finance & Accounting practice, based in San Jose. You will drive business development and recruit skilled professionals for client project and interim needs in corporate finance, accounting operations, shared services, tax, payroll and audit. Full-Time Engagement Professionals are full-time employees of Robert Half deployed on client projects or to backfill open positions.

Key responsibilities

• Business development: introduce services to new and existing clients, build client target lists, generate leads, negotiate bill rates and use business development tools
• Redeployment and bench management: match professionals to client needs using pre-built searches in Salesforce, and promote deployment on current and future projects
• Recruiting: hire finance and accounting professionals into the national practice, meet weekly interview metrics and use recruiting tools to source talent
• Ongoing management: resolve customer service issues, give career development advice, run customer experience calls, manage performance and conduct annual career discussions and merit pay reviews

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources or a related field
• CPA, CMA, MBA or other professional designation desired
• 2+ years of finance or accounting experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of business development in a metrics-driven environment, including success in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker setting
• Experience marketing to C-level and manager-level decision makers

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and a contact management application such as Salesforce
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What we offer

• Salary of $70,304 to $103,000, negotiable, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus
