Systems Process Engineer (SAP R3, OT/IT)

About the role

Roche's Genentech facility in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a Systems Process Engineer (SPE) to act as an expert in the 1-Stop-Shop and take part in support, continuous improvement and onboarding of value streams. The SPE understands processes deeply, advises end users, bridges them to other support roles, raises incidents on their behalf and helps train users. The position is on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 Level 1 on-site and remote support and troubleshooting of applications, mainly SAP R3 and ASPIRE S4/EWM, acting as point of contact for business requests and IT issues, and escalating to Level 2 or global support teams.
• Proactively monitor system interfaces, analyse events with interface partners and troubleshoot them.
• Support site audits, inspections, unplanned events and corrective actions as a subject matter expert.
• Support or lead continuous improvement of IT/OT applications, exchanging regularly with the network and business process managers on best practices and process proposals.
• Coordinate and deliver end-user training and support user authorization workflows.
• In projects, represent the systems user group and bring input from the area of responsibility to the project, keeping business areas informed of goals, information and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or a similar field.
• Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• 7+ years of experience with SAP R3; familiarity with SAP HANA is a plus.
• Knowledge of integration with enterprise systems (SAP, MES, LIMS, etc.) and data integrity concepts.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving, and excellent customer service skills with an agile mindset.

What we offer

• Expected salary range of $103,000 - $192,000 depending on experience, level, qualifications and location; actual pay set by the employer.
