Systems Engineer – Complex Multidisciplinary Programs

About the role

The Systems Engineer provides hands‑on leadership across complex, multidisciplinary programs, initially supporting new product development and later expanding into project execution and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities, define stakeholder needs, operational scenarios, and develop requirements baselines.
• Create and maintain functional, logical, and physical architectures, interface control documents, and verification plans.
• Serve as custodian of the controlled requirements baseline, manage change control, and ensure traceability.
• Integrate reliability, safety, cybersecurity, and other specialty‑engineering inputs into system definitions.
• Support multiple projects, engage with customers, suppliers, and partners on requirements, architecture, and verification strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience applying systems engineering on complex products or programs.
• Proven experience in requirements management, system architecture, interface management, and verification/validation.
• Ability to lead concurrent technical assignments and communicate technical risks.
• Willingness to travel periodically for global program support.

Required skills

• Systems engineering practices, requirements management, traceability.
• Architecture development, functional decomposition, FFBDs, system block diagrams.
• Verification and validation planning and execution.
• MBSE, SysML, and use of tools such as Jama Connect.
