About the role
APEX TK is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst III to support the MDA Chief Engineer in modernizing engineering practices. The role focuses on model‑based systems engineering to shift the agency away from document‑driven processes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with capturing and developing new system models that will become the backbone for future MDA engineering efforts.
- Leverage a variety of MBSE tools to create and maintain model artifacts.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on model development and integration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Strong model‑based engineering experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Experience in interface or interoperability engineering domains.
Required skills
- Expertise with MBSE tools such as SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, and ModelCenter.
- Experience in MDA environments.
- Knowledge of C2, data transport, PNT, or interoperability concepts.
