Systems Administrator – On‑site (Doral, FL)

About the role

MANTECH is looking for a motivated Systems Administrator to join its Doral, FL team. This full‑time, on‑site position works on a rotating schedule that includes days, nights and occasional weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day administration and maintenance of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization technologies.
• Install and upgrade hardware components and software, manage virtual servers, and implement automation processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, run diagnostics, document problems and resolutions, and prioritize based on impact.
• Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and inventory records.
• Perform regular backups, implement data‑protection measures, and monitor system performance.
• Provide support to Desktop and Enterprise Service Desk teams and receive guidance from senior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or 4 + years of equivalent experience.
• 4 + years overall IT experience with at least 2 years in a systems‑administration role.
• Active Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.
• Must hold two certifications obtained or renewed within the past 2 years: DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level II and Microsoft AZ‑104 or MD‑102 (to be obtained within 30 days of start).
• Physical ability to remain stationary for 50 % of the time and frequent communication with coworkers, management, and customers.
