Systems Administrator

About the role

The Dinerstein Companies is looking for a Systems Administrator to support its corporate offices, construction operations, and national property portfolio. The role focuses on maintaining a Microsoft 365‑centric environment together with on‑premise infrastructure such as VMware and SAN storage.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Manage SharePoint file storage, permissions and related governance.
• Maintain Windows Server platforms, Active Directory and the VMware virtualisation environment.
• Oversee SAN storage systems and support backup and recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, system and M365 issues and provide escalation support.
• Assist with system patching, hardening and overall security practices.
• Collaborate on deployments, projects and documentation across the organisation.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of systems administration experience.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency with Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Experience with VMware virtualization (preferred).
• Background supporting enterprise‑level environments.
• Familiarity with hybrid IT environments (cloud and on‑premise).
• Exposure to IT security, patch management and distributed site support.
