Systems Administrator – ISR Systems & Architectures

About the role

The ISR Systems and Architectures group is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a small IT team that supports a classified analysis environment. Working under a senior systems administrator, you will build and maintain computing and network infrastructure while providing day‑to‑day IT support to analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade computers and network equipment.
• Support Windows and Linux platforms, applications, and end‑users.
• Configure routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Implement and manage configuration‑management tools.
• Test new hardware/software and make purchase recommendations.
• Develop shell scripts and automation tools.
• Improve data storage, backup/recovery, network bandwidth, and application deployment.
• Lift and move equipment up to 40 lb.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of experience supporting Windows and Linux systems.
• Ability to work in a classified environment and handle sensitive information.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Prior military or Department of War experience is a plus.
