System & Network Administrator

About the role

Avum is seeking a System & Network Administrator to maintain its development environment, manage on-premises infrastructure, and support internal tools. The role combines network, server, and security responsibilities in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain development environment network devices and configurations.
• Architect, configure, and troubleshoot systems and applications at the core level.
• Serve as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure tasks.
• Support internal tools and platform maintenance (Gitea, Redmine, etc.).
• Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and endpoint management.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and monitoring.
• Support migration projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of system or network administration experience.
• Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
• Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
• U.S. citizenship.

• Network security policy implementation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with internal tools such as Gitea and Redmine.

What we offer

• Salary range $80,000 – $118,000 annually (target $98,000).
