System Engineer - Power Electronics

About the role

The Systems Engineer will actively shape the future of electric drives for battery‑electric and hybrid vehicles, covering both passenger cars and commercial trucks. Working closely with global vehicle manufacturers, you will help define and deliver power‑electronics solutions that enable next‑generation mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external customers on system matters.
• Coordinate system functions, lead requirements analysis with international vehicle manufacturers, and develop power‑electronics requirements.
• Define release plans, monitor implementation, and ensure proper testing.
• Lead on‑site commissioning activities at customer locations and bring products to life.
• Act as central troubleshooting contact within development projects.
• Perform system analyses using Focus‑area matrix, DRBFM and FMEA methods.
• Create ASPICE‑compliant requirement documentation in DOORS and produce technical customer documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable field.
• 4+ years of development experience in electric drives on customer projects with vehicle manufacturers.
• Experience developing requirements with DOORS and strong component, software and system understanding.
• Proven problem‑solving expertise.
• Flexible, resilient, self‑driven, pragmatic and goal‑oriented.
• Enjoy structuring and resolving complex tasks in collaboration with internal, external and international teams.
