System Administrator

About the role

KeenLogic is looking for an experienced System Administrator to support Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) under a federal contract. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment, providing both remote and occasional onsite assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Windows 11 workstations.
• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Deploy operating systems, software, and patches across the enterprise.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and patch management.
• Provide desktop and server troubleshooting and hardware/software installation.
• Support virtual and physical servers and ensure infrastructure reliability.
• Travel to UNICOR or Bureau of Prisons facilities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCP and MCSA certifications (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with occasional onsite visits.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in a complex enterprise environment.
