About the role
We are seeking a System Administrator I to provide first‑ and second‑line technical support to internal staff at our Abilene office. The role involves both remote and on‑site software installation, troubleshooting, and acting as a liaison between development and technology teams.
Key responsibilities
- Install and configure software applications on‑site and remotely, ensuring full functionality.
- Assist users with application features and communicate their needs to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and report application issues, analyze transaction processing, and verify configuration parameters.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for current system implementations and support.
- Test, implement, and evaluate new or updated software, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Travel to remote company locations as required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work occasional holidays, weekends, extended or after‑hours support.
- Proficient with computer systems and able to self‑manage learning of diverse applications.
- Detail‑oriented, logical thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in systems analysis and project management.
