About the role

This internship with the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs offers a hands‑on experience in supporting outreach, stakeholder engagement, research, and event organization related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Support drafting concept notes and outreach materials to mobilize stakeholders for SDG initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing stakeholder engagement strategies, summarising inputs from online consultations, and preparing reports.
  • Contribute to research, analysis, and the drafting or reviewing of documents on SDG topics.
  • Help organise in‑person, virtual and hybrid events, including agenda preparation, background material drafting, technical support, and post‑event reporting.
  • Support the review and follow‑up of SDG partnerships, including analysis and research.
  • Assist in preparing papers and reports linked to international conferences and SDG‑related activities.
