Supply Chain Planner II

About the role

Join BASF’s Chemical Intermediates supply chain team in Geismar, LA as a Supply Chain Planner II. You will be responsible for inventory and supply planning across domestic production, tolling, and imports, supporting the Amines product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional supply chain optimization and S&OP activities for the Amines portfolio.
• Develop and execute production and purchase plans to meet customer service goals, inventory targets, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Customer Care.
• Identify and drive SCM improvement projects based on analytical insights.
• Support broader supply chain functions and foster strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related functions.
• Strong analytical abilities and understanding of modern supply chain concepts.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with the ability to manage multiple high‑profile products.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP system.
