Supply Chain Operations Lead

About the role

Pacific Defense is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Lead to oversee the planning, scheduling and control of material flow across its manufacturing lifecycle. The role coordinates stockroom, shipping, receiving, warehouse and logistics functions to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy and on‑time delivery for defense‑grade products.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules based on demand, material availability and capacity, releasing work orders and adjusting for shortages or engineering changes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement and program management to meet delivery commitments and track schedule adherence.
• Analyze material requirements, manage inventory transactions, conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies within the ERP system.
• Lead daily stockroom and warehouse operations, applying 5S principles, ensuring proper material identification, traceability and handling of serialized, controlled and ITAR‑regulated items.
• Support revenue and shipment forecasts through accurate production planning and logistics execution.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Proven experience in production control, material planning or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations and supply chain coordination.
• Attention to detail and ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, quality and program teams.

Required skills

• ERP system usage for inventory and production control.
• Knowledge of 5S warehouse organization principles.
• Familiarity with ITAR compliance requirements.
