Supervisor Production I

About the role

The Production Supervisor I will oversee all phases of flour manufacturing, from maceration and milling to packing. You will ensure that each product meets quality specifications and that the plant operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise flour production processes (maceration, milling, packing) and verify them in SAPAssist.
• Oversee packing of flour in various formats (50 lb, tote bags, 22 lb, 20 lb, retail, bulk) ensuring specifications are met.
• Conduct inspections of production areas, equipment cleanliness, and performance.
• Control employee work time, maintain attendance and absence records in the payroll system, and manage shift schedules.
• Prepare and verify production reports and communicate any electrical or mechanical issues via the Mobile Frame program.
• Distribute personnel to tasks based on production orders and plant needs.
• Attend weekly production, safety, and training meetings and coordinate with the Quality Assurance department.
• Cover packing/additives duties when required and train new department employees.
• Analyze production data to make process decisions and perform job safety analyses.
• Supervise special activities assigned by the department manager.

Required profile

• Experience supervising flour or similar food‑processing production lines.
• Ability to manage shift teams, attendance, and payroll records.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate personnel and production schedules.
• Proactive approach to safety, quality, and equipment maintenance.
