Super Floater Behavior Technician for School (Glendale Only)

About the role

ABA Therapy Partners is seeking a versatile "Super Floater" Behavior Technician to provide immediate coverage and continuity of care in school settings within Glendale. This full‑time position supports students with high‑risk behaviors and assists frontline staff by stepping in for planned or last‑minute absences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy and implement individualized behavior programs during staff absences to maintain 100% billing of client hours.
• Manage crisis situations, including emergency procedures and safe restraint, with CPI training.
• Coach junior RBTs on complex Behavior Intervention Plans and facilitate breaks for frontline staff.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data collection, graphing, material preparation, and timely session note entry.
• Travel between multiple service locations (clinics, schools, homes) within the Glendale regional radius.

Required profile

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or higher (BCaBA/BCBA).
• 1–2+ years of hands‑on ABA experience; senior roles may require up to 11 years.
• Clean background checks (Live Scan, Checkr) and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, often in sociology or related field.
• Must reside in Glendale and be able to report to school assignments within 5‑10 minutes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ABA‑related software for documentation and data analysis.
• Technical ability to collect and graph behavioral data.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification for safe restraint procedures.
