Summer 2027 Internship - Foot & Ankle Sales

About the role

Stryker is looking for a summer 2027 intern for its Foot & Ankle Sales position in Morristown, a field-based role in orthopaedic sales. The intern learns the sales process and product knowledge through shadowing and hands-on assistance, with travel of about 40%.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives and Operations Team Members to understand the branch, and attend or prepare a sales presentation.
• Prepare a project segment that builds a target account list and develops a marketing potential or strategy.
• Learn selling skills, processes and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentoring from Sales Representatives, Sales Associates and Sales Managers.
• Shadow and assist Team Member Drivers in delivering kits to and from accounts.
• Assist Team Members in the warehouse with assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
• Interact with various teams about the products and help Sales and Field Operations Teams with special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently completing a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent; only students planning to enroll in a degree-seeking program after the summer are considered.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above preferred.
• Permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills, and proven leadership and business acumen.
• Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, and to exercise independent judgment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

What we offer

• Pay of $20 minimum to $35 maximum per hour.
• Sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually.
