Summer 2027 Global Product Support Intern – Master's

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a motivated Master’s‑level intern to join its Global Product Support team in Santa Clara. The intern will work on AI‑driven analytics and troubleshooting solutions that improve semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support FabVantage initiatives by analyzing manufacturing and equipment data to identify trends and root causes.
• Collaborate with Customer Engineers, Process Engineers, AI researchers, and IT teams to translate engineering knowledge into scalable digital tools.
• Assist in automating data capture, AI adoption, and global deployment and training efforts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong interest in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor process engineering.

Required skills

• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
