Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Intern - Surgical Robotics

About the role

Stryker is offering a summer 2027 internship in electrical engineering in Florida, focused on surgical robotics. The internship is onsite and offers hands-on work alongside mentors, with the chance to touch a project in systems engineering. It targets students majoring in marketing, business, business administration/management or communications.

Key responsibilities

• Work on PCBA and wire harness design for surgical robotics
• Follow the design process with a mentor, covering requirements, schematics, layout, build, test and peer reviews
• Gain some experience on a project in systems engineering
• Document complex processes and present them clearly

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, remaining enrolled after the internship
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at time of hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not need sponsorship now or in the future
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills, able to handle multiple priorities

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

What we offer

• Pay of $20 minimum to $35 maximum per hour
• Sign-on bonus
