About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced voice instructor to provide substitute, in‑person lessons at The Music Box in Lafayette, LA. The role is part‑time and flexible, with a focus on consistency for students.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality voice instruction to students on an as‑needed basis.
Set and communicate availability within the school’s open hours.
Maintain punctuality and reliable transportation for each lesson.

Required profile

Degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated passion for teaching and experience working with young musicians.
Ability to pass a routine background check.
Reliable transportation and strong appreciation for punctuality.

Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $26, based on experience.
